Sumario:In many areas of Peru, infections by protozoa and intestinal helminths and low levels of hemoglobin coexist. The objective of this research was to determine the relationship of intestinal parasitic infections with hemoglobin levels in children under 10 years of age treated at C.S California Viru (La Libertad, Peru), between January and June 2021, in order to clarify the care priorities. A total of 71 children, of both sexes, participated in this observational, prospective, cross-sectional study. Intestinal parasite infections were determined using the direct technique, with Lugol's and saline solution 0.8%, and hemoglobin levels using the hematocrit test. The results showed Enterobius vermicularis, with 55.6%, as the most relevant species, followed by Giardia lamblia, 33.3%; Hymenolepis nana, 7.4%; Entamoeba coli, 11.1% and Blastocytis hominis, 3.7%; the hematocrit showed that 81.7% of children did not present anemia, 9.9% moderate anemia and 8.8% mild anemia. The statistic was used Cramer's "v" that showed us that there is no relationship between hemoglobin and parasitosis
