The following results were obtained June 2015 Generation of medical waste in the months of March: Weight (kg) biocontaminated 261.8 and 633.5 Commons. Volume (L), biocontaminated 5 443.9 and 13 347.6 Commons. Density (kg/m3), biocontaminated 192.4 and 189.8 Commons. Visual Quality, Air Quality and Health: Regarding the Assessment Matrix Leopold the greatest effects of environmental factors were obtained.

El método que se utilizo fue el descriptivo. El escenario fue el Centro de Salud de Zorritos de Tumbes. La muestra estuvo constituida por los residuos hospitalarios generados en dicho centro de salud en el año 2015. La Técnica utilizada fue la observación, entrevista, análisis cuantitativo (peso, volumen, densidad) y análisis cualitativo (matriz de Leopold). Se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: Generación de residuos hospitalarios en los meses de marzo – junio 2015: Peso (Kg), Biocontaminados 261.8 y Comunes 633.5. Volumen (L), Biocontaminados 5 443.9 y Comunes 13 347.6. Densidad (Kg/m3), Biocontaminados 192.4 y Comunes 189.8.
