This quantitative study was to study object "hospital solid waste management" The method used was descriptive. The stage was the health center of Tumbes Zorritos. The sample consisted of hospital waste generated in this hospital in 2015. The technique used was the observation, interview, quantitative analysis (weight, volume , density) and qualitative analysis (Leopold matrix) . The following results were obtained June 2015 Generation of medical waste in the months of March: Weight (kg) biocontaminated 261.8 and 633.5 Commons. Volume (L), biocontaminated 5 443.9 and 13 347.6 Commons. Density (kg/m3), biocontaminated 192.4 and 189.8 Commons. Visual Quality, Air Quality and Health: Regarding the Assessment Matrix Leopold the greatest effects of environmental factors were obtained.
