Sumario:The relation decided between the diet and the levels of triglicéridos using the type of descriptive simple, market investigation and of transverse court, with sample size of 60 adult settlers of both sexes who took part in a voluntary way. For the above mentioned investigation the enzymatical method was in use according to Trinder. The results were validated using switchboards of frequency as well as the test chi-square with level of significance a α = 5 %. In relation to the lifestyles one thought that 30,33 % never realized exercise, 2,04 % consumed regularly alcohol, likewise tobacco and coffee 5,66 % and 34,09 % respectively, also one thought that 71,67 % presented ideal level of triglyceride, 18,33 % high limit and 10 % high level, besides it a significancia was not situated, besides it a statistical significancia was not situated on having confronted the levels of triglyceride with the sex (p=0.55) and age (p=0.15). Modal to the diet could conclude that the excessive consumption of carbohydrates and fats proceeding from the breakfast, lunch and dinner increase the levels of triglyceride
