Sumario:The purpose of this research work was to propose a model of evaluation which allows improving the admission process, the professional formation and the graduation of students at Daniel Alcides Carrion National University of Cerro de Pasco (UNDAC). The applied methodology consisted in making a diagnosis of the current evaluation system at UNDAC, with a population of600 teachers and 6000; being therefore determined a sample of 120 teachers and 400 students. Having the diagnostic results and the specialized bibliography, it was designed the evaluation model to respond to the needs of improving the evaluation process in the three levels: admission, formation and graduation. At the end of this research, it was concluded that it was possible to design a proposal of evaluation model starting from the knowledge of reality (university) and the contribution of the specialists in the matter; in consequence, the hypothesis was confirmed.
