description The present work, descriptive-qualitative, has the following studio objects: 1. Analyze adult´s perception on Health Promotion in a perspective of nursery for the quality of life, 2. Understand the adult´s experience on promotion (care) of their health, 3. Analyze the information that adults receive from the nurse regarding their health, 4. Propose the design of a nursery strategy for the adult´s quality of life. The theoretical approach is based on the Health Promotion concepts from Saúl Franco Agudelo (1995), Biomedic Model by Fridjof Capra (2006) and Quality of Life according Felce and Perry. The framework of reference was based on: The Health programs in Mexico, The Operative Model of Health promotion and The National Plan of Development (PND 2007-2012 Mexico). The study subjects were ten adults between 20-59 years old, both sexes and the participation of five nurses from the First Attention Level. The thematic analysis gave as a result three categories: 1. Health Promotion perceived by the adult and 2. Health promotion, health services/nursing.

Analizar la Percepción del adulto sobre Promoción de Salud en una perspectiva de enfermería para la calidad de vida, 2. Comprender la experiencia del adulto sobre promoción (cuidado) de su salud, 3. Analizar la información que el adulto recibe por parte de la enfermera para el cuidado de su salud 4. Proponer bases conceptuales promoción de salud y calidad de vida del adulto en zona rural. El abordaje teórico se basó en los conceptos de Promoción de Salud de Saúl Franco Agudelo (1995), Modelo Biomédico de Fridjof Capra (2006) y Calidad de Vida según Felce y Perry (1995). Fueron marcos de referencia, los Programas de Salud en México, el Modelo Operativo de Promoción de la Salud y el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo (PND 2007- 2012-México). Fueron sujetos de estudio diez adultos entre 20–59 años, de ambos sexos y participaron, cinco enfermeras del Primer Nivel de Atención. El análisis temático dio como resultado dos categorías: 1. Promoción de salud percibida por el adulto y 2.
