Determinar el nivel de calidad de las historias clínicas de la Unidad de Cuidado Intensivos Neonatales del Hospital Regional de Ica enero a junio del 2018. La investigación observacional, transversal, descriptiva, y retrospectiva. Se evaluaron 96 historias clínicas, las que fueron auditadas con un instrumento que evalúa 5 dimensiones: Identificación del Paciente. Acto médico. Registros de enfermería completos. Cumplimiento de normas sobre Registros. Limpieza y orden. La calidad del registro de las historias clínicas en la dimensión Identificación del paciente tienen un nivel de calidad óptima el 12.5%, regular 69.8% y deficiente 17.7%. La calidad del registro de las historias clínicas en la dimensión Acto médico tienen un nivel de calidad óptima el 24%, regular 42.7% y deficiente 33.3%. La calidad del registro de las historias clínicas en la dimensión Registros completos de Enfermería tienen un nivel de calidad óptima el 70.8%, regular 19.8% y deficiente 9.4%. La calidad del registro de las historias clínicas en la dimensión Cumplimiento de normas sobre Registros tienen un nivel de calidad óptima el 16.7%, regular 30.2% y deficiente 53.1%. La calidad del registro de las historias clínicas en la dimensión Limpieza y orden tienen un nivel de calidad óptima el 22.9%, regular 66.7% y deficiente 10.4%. La calidad de los registros de las historias clínicas en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales del Hospital Regional de Ica tiene un nivel de calidad óptima el 30.2%, regular 52.1% y deficiente 17.7%. En general la calidad de las historias clínicas en la UCI neonatal es de 59% faltando por mejorar 41%. ----- To determine the quality level of the clinical records of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Ica Regional Hospital from January to June 2018. Observational, cross-sectional, descriptive, and retrospective research. We evaluated 96 clinical histories, which were audited with an instrument that evaluates 5 dimensions: Patient Identification. Medical act Complete nursing records. Compliance with regulations on Registries. Clean and neat. The quality of the record of the medical records in the dimension of patient identification has an optimal quality level of 12.5%, regular 69.8% and deficient 17.7%. The quality of the registry of medical records in the dimension Medical Act has an optimum level of quality 24%, regular 42.7% and deficient 33.3%. The quality of the registry of the clinical records in the dimension Complete Nursing Records has an optimum quality level of 70.8%, regular 19.8% and deficient 9.4%. The quality of the registration of medical records in the Compliance dimension of Registries on Registries has an optimum quality level of 16.7%, regular 30.2% and deficient 53.1%. The quality of the registry of medical records in the Cleanliness and Order dimension has an optimum quality level of 22.9%, regular 66.7% and deficient 10.4%. The quality of the records of the clinical records in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Regional Hospital of Ica has an optimum quality level of 30.2%, regular 52.1% and deficient 17.7%. In general, the quality of the clinical records in the neonatal ICU is 59%, with 41% remaining to be improved.
