Descripción
Sumario:Attention deficit problems in children are becoming increasingly common. Currently, many face difficulties in concentrating and controlling their impulsivity. This situation can affect their academic performance and social relationships, making early intervention and an appropriate approach essential to help them develop skills that allow them to better manage their attention and behavior. The purpose of this study was to improve the attention of second-grade students at I.E.A Marcos Durán Martel in Huánuco in 2022. This research is applied, explanatory in nature, and utilizes a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design. The population consisted of four hundred ninety-one (491) students from first to sixth grade, with a sample of twenty-three (23) students from section "B." A validated questionnaire, assessed by expert judgment (content validity), was used as the data collection instrument. The reliability result was obtained through Cronbach's Alpha (criterion validity), yielding a score of (0.96). The research results show significant improvements in attention, confirming the study hypothesis. Therefore, it is concluded that musical stories enhance attention.
