| Sumario: | The main objective of this research was to determine the perception of humanized care among patients at health centers in Iquitos in 2025. This basic, descriptive, and non-experimental study used a sample of 315 patients who provided their perceptions through a questionnaire called the Perception of Humanized Nursing Care Behaviors (PCHE - 3rd version). The study determined that the perception of humanized care in the dental setting is mostly moderate, especially among women and adults over 46 years of age, who also stand out for their high perceptions. This finding suggests the importance of considering gender and age factors when evaluating the quality of care. While positive aspects such as friendly treatment, the trust generated, and clear communication were observed, high ratings were infrequent, and areas for improvement remain in dimensions such as personalized identification, attention to emotions, and the formal presentation of staff. Thus, it is concluded that it is necessary to strengthen strategies that promote more comprehensive and personalized care, emphasizing both the recognition of individual needs and the improvement of communication and holistic care, with the aim of increasing patient satisfaction and well-being. |
