Descripción
Sumario:"This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the use of teaching materials and the learning level in the Communication area among fifth grade primary students at Educational Institution No. 62790, located in the district of Balsapuerto, during the year 2024. The research was basic in type and followed a non-experimental design, working with a sample of 60 students from said grade. Data collection involved the survey technique and a questionnaire as the instrument. The results show that the majority of students (45.0%) are at a medium level regarding the use of teaching materials, followed by 31.7% at a low level, and only 23.3% reaching a high level. Similarly, in Communication area learning, 48.3% of students are at a medium level, while 30.0% present a low level and barely 21.7% achieve a high level. Furthermore, by applying the Spearman’s Rho test, it was evidenced that a positive, moderate, and statistically significant relationship exists between the use of teaching materials and learning in the Communication area, yielding a correlation coefficient of r = 0.635 and a significance level of p = 0.000, a value lower than 0.05."
