Descripción
Sumario:The study on the technological level of the cocoa producer in the town of Tamshiyacu, capital of the district of Fernando Lores, Loreto region, aimed to describe the technological level of the cocoa producer since its implementation in plots of producers in the city of Tamshiyacu. The present research is applied and uses the explanatory-correlational-comparative design. The research method is non experimental, transversal and simple correlational. For this research, the sample was taken from the farmers who have areas planted with cocoa on the Yavarí-Mirí road, from kilometer 1 to 8. They are 30 in number. The survey was applied as an instrument to collect the information. The data obtained served to compare and relate the variables under study and determine how they influence the adoption of cocoa cultivation. The Chi square hypothesis test was applied to measure the relationship of the variables subjected to the study: agricultural activities or practices and the technological level. Finally, it is concluded that the cultural practices of small farmers, with the level of technology used, do not influence performance. Likewise, socioeconomic factors have a negative influence on the use of technologies. Likewise, extension services, in relation to their effects, were not significant on the use of technology.
