This study was carried out in Mazan District, Maynas Province, Loreto Region, in order to determine the degree of influence of environmental education on the population of Mazan district oriented towards the sustainable development of the logging activity. The research is basic, using the analytical, descriptive, explanatory method. According to the obtained results, it is necessary to: The degree of influence of environmental education in the population of Mazan is not perceived in a positive way, the entities in charge of environmental education have not been fulfilling their role, the contribution to the sustained development of The forestry activity in the town of Mazan is very poor since it has not managed to develop any indicator that raises the theory of sustainable development, the district of Mazan has valuable strengths, being the most significant the immense forest resource to be exploited oriented on the bases of sustained development, the worst weakness of Mazan district is its Govern and Governance as well as its poor economy, it is necessary to promote forestry, road integration, the development of fishing and agriculture, lower levels of illegal extraction, generate jobs, improve the educational level and promote the development of tourism.
