This research was carried out in Rosario Aucayo populated town, which is located within Fernando Lores district, Maynas province, in Loreto region. The type of research is quantitative - descriptive, considering that it is qualitative research. According to the obtained results, it can be indicated that the level of knowledge of the inhabitants of Rosario Aucayo populated town regarding the use of the native forest was 3.57% at the HIGH level, 51.83%, the MEDIUM level and 44, 60% at the LOW level. The level of knowledge of the inhabitants of Rosario Aucayo populated town regarding the culture of forest conservation was 25% at the HIGH level, 55.36% at the MEDIUM level and 19.64% at the LOW level. The level of knowledge of the inhabitants of Rosario Aucayo populated town regarding the Forest and Wildlife Law 29763 was 21.43% at the HIGH level, 28.57% at the MEDIUM level and 50% at the LOW level. The level of knowledge of the inhabitants of Rosario Aucayo populated town regarding sustainable forest management was 17% at the HIGH level, 45% at the MEDIUM level and 38% at the LOW level.
