Se empleó como instrumento la Escala para Medir la Competencia Digital (ECD) de Gutiérrez, Cabero y Estrada, adaptada al contexto educativo nacional por Bazán. Se encontró que el 63% de docentes presentan un nivel alto de competencias digitales, el 30% un nivel medio y menos del 7% nivel bajo. Se concluye que la mayoría de docentes de educación inicial presentan un adecuado nivel de competencias digitales.

A descriptive non-experimental design was applied, the sampling was non-probabilistic and the sample consisted of 60 female teachers whose ages were between 21 years and older. The Gutiérrez, Cabero and Estrada Scale to Measure Digital Competence (ECD), adapted to the national educational context by Bazán, was used as an instrument. It was found that 63% of teachers have a high level of digital skills, 30% a medium level and less than 7% have a low level.
