Los resultados revelaron que, de manera general, el 54% de los estudiantes se encontraba en un nivel moderado de estrés; asimismo, el 69% estaba en un nivel moderado con respecto a la dimensión estresores; el 54% en un nivel moderado en la dimensión de manifestaciones de reacciones y síntomas y, finalmente, en la dimensión de estrategias de afrontamiento el 66% estaba en un nivel severo. Se concluye que en los estudiantes prevalecía el nivel moderado de estrés académico.

It is a quantitative study with a non-experimental, transverse, simple descriptive design. A total of 62 students participated in this research. For the collection of data, SISCO SV - 21 inventory of academic stress was applied. The results reveal that, in a general way, 54% of the students were at a moderate level of stress. Also, 69% were at a moderate level, with respect to the stressors dimension; 54% of them were located at a moderate level in relation to manifestations of reactions and symptoms; finally, in the dimension of coping strategies, 66% were at a severe level.
