description Objetivo: identificar el nivel de satisfacción de familiares de los pacientes hospitalizados, sobre la calidad de atención de enfermería en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital II EsSalud Huaraz, 2024. Materiales y métodos: esta investigación adoptará un enfoque cuantitativo, será de diseño descriptivo, no experimental y transversal y se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de Huaraz. La población estará conformada por 50 familiares de los usuarios que estarán hospitalizados en las dos rotaciones de la UCI del Hospital II Essalud Huaraz, desde enero hasta junio de 2024. Este grupo servirá como tamaño de muestra. El muestreo será no probabilístico, seleccionado por conveniencia. La información necesaria será obtenida empleando la técnica de entrevista y como instrumento se usará un cuestionario validado y confiable. Resultados: los datos obtenidos se transferirán al sistema estadístico SPSS IBM en su última versión. Allí, los datos serán organizados en tablas y se calcularán los porcentajes correspondientes, realizando estadísticas descriptivas. Conclusiones: esta investigación permitirá generar información concreta y aplicable que podrá ser utilizada para mejorar estándares de atención de enfermería en la UCI del hospital al identificar áreas de mejora para desarrollar intervenciones específicas orientadas a optimizar la experiencia del paciente y sus familiares.

Materials and methods: this research will adopt a quantitative approach, will be of descriptive, non experimental and cross-sectional design and will be carried out in the city of Huaraz. The population will be made up of 50 family members of users who will be hospitalized in the two rotations of the ICU of the Hospital II Essalud Huaraz, from January to June 2024. This group will serve as the sample size. The sampling will be non-probabilistic, selected by convenience. The necessary information will be obtained using the interview technique and a validated and reliable questionnaire will be used as an instrument. Results: the data obtained will be transferred to the latest version of the SPSS IBM statistical system. There, the data will be organized in tables and the corresponding percentages will be calculated, performing descriptive statistics.
