El instrumento fue una ficha de recolección de datos validada por 3 expertos. Obteniendo como resultado que el 61,8%(N=42) tuvieron anemia leve, 29,4%(N=20) anemia moderada y 8,8%(N=6) anemia severa. Se concluye que, Hubo asociación significativa (p<0,05) entre los factores sociodemográficos (edad materna, grado de instrucción, ingreso socioeconómico), factor salud infantil (antecedente de cuadro diarreico) y factor cuidado materno (controles prenatales).

The population consisted of 68 mothers of infants aged 6 to 24 months treated at the 10 de Octubre health center, and using a census sample, while the sampling was non-probabilistic. The instrument was a data collection form validated by 3 experts. The results showed that 61.8% (N=42) had mild anemia, 29.4% (N=20) moderate anemia and 8.8% (N=6) severe anemia.
