Materiales y métodos: enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básica, diseño no experimental, corte transversal, nivel correlacional; la técnica encuesta y un cuestionario aplicado a 248 pacientes. Los datos se emplearon con análisis descriptivo y estadística inferencial. Resultados: se evidenció un 32.3% de 18 a 28 años, predominando las mujeres con 68.1%, el 65.3% tiene secundaria completa, asimismo, el 58.1% reportaron ingresos familiares menores al sueldo mínimo, el 90.7% cuenta con seguro de salud público, por otro lado, el 41.9% indico que el tiempo de diagnóstico de ansiedad y depresión fue entre 6 meses y 1 año, con un perfil de consumo medio del 100% de plantas medicinales con acción antidepresiva y ansiolítica y una actitud neutra del 55.2%. Conclusiones: se determinó que existe relación (r = 0,413; p<0,05) entre el perfil de consumo y la actitud sobre plantas medicinales con acción antidepresiva y ansiolítica en pacientes del Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Rijchariy.

Conclusiones: se determinó que existe relación (r = 0,413; p<0,05) entre el perfil de consumo y la actitud sobre plantas medicinales con acción antidepresiva y ansiolítica en pacientes del Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Rijchariy.Objective: to determine the relationship between the consumption profile and the attitude towards medicinal plants with antidepressant and anxiolytic action in patients of the Rijchariy Community Mental Health Center in the district of Ancon, September-October 2024. Materials and methods: quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, correlational level; survey technique and a questionnaire applied to 248 patients. The data were used with descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. Results: 32.3% aged 18 to 28 years were evidenced, predominantly women with 68.1%, 65.3% have completed high school, also, 58.1% reported family income below the minimum wage, 90.7% have public health insurance, on the other hand, 41.9% indicated that the time of diagnosis of anxiety and depression was between 6 months and 1 year, with an average consumption profile of 100% of medicinal plants with antidepressant and anxiolytic action and a neutral attitude of 55.2%.
