Metodología, este estudio es de tipo descriptivo, diseño no experimental y transversal, mediante la aplicación del proceso de atención de enfermería, se utilizó el formato de valoración de patrones funcionales de Marjory Gordon, y la taxonomía de diagnósticos (NANDA), resultados (NOC) e intervenciones de enfermería (NIC). Resultados, con respecto al análisis del primer diagnóstico de enfermería: Dolor crónico, el 85% de las intervenciones que se llevó a cabo fueron ejecutadas satisfactoriamente y dieron buenos resultados, el 15% está en proceso debido a la complejidad de la enfermedad, cuyo objetivo fue controlar o disminuir el dolor, y como primera actividad: realizar una valoración detallada del dolor que abarque ubicación, duración, nivel de intensidad, factores que alivian y lo causan. Conclusión: de acuerdo al diagnóstico de enfermería. Dolor crónico relacionado con agentes que provocan lesiones evidenciado por verbaliza acerca de la intensidad utilizando escalas estandarizadas de dolor, se concluye que el 85 % de las intervenciones que se llevó a cabo fueron ejecutadas satisfactoriamente, la cual dio buenos resultados. Sin embargo, el 15 % está en proceso debido a la complejidad de la enfermedad.

Methodology, this study is descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, through the application of the nursing care process, Marjory Gordon's functional pattern assessment format was used, and the taxonomy of diagnoses (NANDA), results (NOC) and nursing interventions (NIC). Results, with respect to the analysis of the first nursing diagnosis: Chronic pain, 85% of the interventions that were carried out were satisfactorily executed and gave good results, 15% are in process due to the complexity of the disease, whose objective was to control or reduce the pain, and as the first activity: carry out a detailed assessment of the pain that covers location, duration, level of intensity, factors that relieve and cause it.
