description La presente investigación tiene como propósito analizar si es viable la regulación de la causal de divorcio por afectación del proyecto de vida. El diseño de investigación es de teoría fundamentada con un enfoque cualitativo y tipo de investigación básica, cuyos resultados se reflejan mediante tablas. A través de las entrevistas realizadas y del estudio de la sentencia se evidencia que no existe ninguna barrera que impida el desarrollo de este proyecto es más traería beneficios su regulación, logrando así una relevancia jurídica en la afectación al proyecto de vida porque hoy en día solo hay preocupación en lo referente a perjuicio patrimonial más no en el perjuicio intangible que tiene la víctima y la intensidad de la afectación.
