La población la conforma la totalidad de información disponible para analizar la oferta demanda de GLP; y la muestra está constituida por la información referente a la oferta, producción, demanda e importación de GLP de los últimos 5 años. Esta investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y diseño no experimental, donde se evaluará los principales indicadores relacionados al mercado nacional de GLP, para la determinación del déficit oferta- demanda nacional proyectada; para luego a través del análisis técnico de diseño y evaluación de proyectos, se definirá la mejor alternativa que cubra esta necesidad. Entre las principales conclusiones se tiene que: La implementación de un Terminal de Recepción, Almacenamiento y Despacho de GLP elevará el nivel de seguridad energética en el país; ello implica cubrir la brecha energética proyectada para los próximos años, contando con una infraestructura suficiente permitiendo recibir la importación de GLP proyectado, incrementando en 200 MB la capacidad instalada actual; cubriendo una brecha de 14% en los próximos años.
