description El propósito de esta investigación fue determinar la relación entre educación virtual y acompañamiento familiar en estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Inicial de Tumbes - 2022. Se desarrolló bajo una metodología de características cuantitativa; nivel descriptivo y diseño correlacional, optando por utilizar la encuesta y cuestionarios para recolectar información del grupo muestral, uno para medir la educación virtual y otro para medir el acompañamiento familiar, los que fueron validados y sometidos a pruebas de confiabilidad. Se aplicaron a 82 estudiantes. La variable educación virtual se dimensionó en recursos de aprendizaje, acompañamiento virtual, aprendizaje colaborativo y competencias; asimismo la variable acompañamiento familiar, se dimensionó en sostén económico, presencia, responsabilidad, compromiso padre/madre, compromiso tutor y/o apoderado. Los resultados indicaron un predominio en el nivel regular de ambas variables. Concluyendo además que la educación virtual presenta correlación positiva moderada con el acompañamiento familiar, expresado con un Rho=0,566 y un p valor <0,001.
