description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la correlación existente entre la gestión prospectiva y el cumplimiento de planes operativos del centro educativo Antonio Torres Araujo de la ciudad de Trujillo, 2023. La metodología fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental de estudio correlacional; por ello se aplicó una encuesta con las 2 variables para ver la confiabilidad en alfa de Cronbach, teniendo como resultado de la variable Gestión Prospectiva en un 0.874 de 16 ítems analizados; en una muestra de 45 encuestados; como también en la siguiente variable de Planes Operativos se obtiene un resultado de 0.941 de 8 ítems analizados, en la misma cantidad de encuestados, ambos resultados fueron mayores a 0,7 entonces se considera un valor aceptable para el instrumento. La gestión prospectiva se refiere a una serie de acciones planificadas y ejecutadas para poder tomar precaución y hacer que la institución se evite riesgos futuros, especialmente en relación con el crecimiento de financiamiento y el plan operativo anual es un instrumento esencial que complementa la planificación operativa de una entidad.
