description Esta investigación aporta al ODS 3 (Salud y Bienestar) al estudiar la relación entre violencia familiar y autoestima en estudiantes de secundaria de una Institución Educativa en Arequipa 2024.Se empleó una metodología cuantitativa no experimental, con diseño básico y alcance correlacional de corte transversal. Se trabajó con una muestra censal de 124 estudiantes, utilizando el inventario de violencia familiar de Zevallos y la escala de autoestima de Rosenberg como instrumentos. Los resultados evidenciaron una correlación inversa significativa entre las variables (Rho de Spearman = -0.181, p=0.044), indicando que, a mayor violencia familiar, menor autoestima. El 96.8% de los estudiantes presentó nivel bajo de violencia familiar, mientras que el 50% mostró autoestima media. Los hallazgos confirman la existencia de una relación inversa entre ambas variables, contribuyendo así a la promoción de la salud mental en el ámbito educativo.
