El objetivo principal fue identificar variables asociados al Síndrome de Burnout en Internos de Medicina. El tipo de investigación fue básica diseño no experimental, transversal correlacional y prospectivo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 80 internos que respondieron al cuestionario de Mashlach Burnout Inventory. Se observo una alta prevalencia de SBO entre los internos de medicina, con aproximadamente el 80% de los participantes padeciendo el síndrome. Se identificaron diversas variables asociadas al SBO, como las dificultades para acceder a los establecimientos de salud, el tipo de rotación, el horario de trabajo y la presencia de hijos, pero sin diferencia significativa. En conclusión, no se encontró asociación significativa entre las variables personales ni laborales con el SBO.
