description El estudio tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y la ansiedad hacia las matemáticas en estudiantes universitarios, Lima 2022. La muestra fue de 133 estudiantes de universidades de la ciudad de Lima, cuyas edades oscilaban entre los 17 y 18 años. Se utilizó el inventario de inteligencia emocional y el cuestionario de ansiedad hacia las matemáticas. Se aplico una prueba piloto para determinar la consistencia interna de los instrumentos mediante el alfa de Cronbach. Se utilizo el estadístico Kolmogórov-Smirnov por ser una muestra mayor a 50 sujetos, presentando como resultado un p<.05; en tal sentido la estadística empleada fue no paramétrica, se aplicó la prueba Rho de Spearman (Rho= -.700, p= .000).
