El trabajo de investigación se planteó como objetivo analizar los estudios sobre la vinculación existente entre la psicomotricidad con el desarrollo de los procesos de lectura y escritura. La metodología tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, utilizando la guía PRISMA para la identificación, selección y análisis variado de investigaciones disponibles entre 2012 hasta 2022, en las bases de datos Scopus, Google Scholar, Concytec, ESBCO y ProQuest. Como conclusión se evidenció la trascendencia de la psicomotricidad para el aprendizaje de la lectoescritura, especialmente en el nivel de educación inicial, influenciando el crecimiento integral del ser humano, tanto individual como socialmente.
