Por tal motivo, este proyecto propone una sede para la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana, con sede en la ciudad universitaria de Zungarococha en el distrito de San Juan Bautista, Iquitos, Loreto, Perú. El proyecto se inserta en la línea de investigación de Arquitectura Sostenible, por lo que promueve el diseño acondicionado a la región tropical, utilizando materiales ecológicos, aprovechando los recursos de la naturaleza para generar energía limpia y darle provecho al agua de lluvia. Por otro lado, se promueve el estilo de arquitectura de vanguardia tropical, con el objetivo de reforzar la identidad regional contra el eclecticismo descontextualizado que genera ambientes de baja calidad.

The university must be oriented towards the training of professionals and research, which contribute to the implementation of new knowledge. It is necessary for the university to be accessible, close and with quality environments. For this reason, this thesis projects a headquarters for the Faculty of Architecture of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, based in the university city of Zungarococha in the district of San Juan Bautista, Iquitos, Loreto, Peru. The project is inserted in the research line of Sustainable Architecture, for which it promotes design adapted to the tropical region, using ecological materials, taking advantage of nature's resources to generate clean energy and take advantage of rainwater.
