description El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la relación que existe entre la ansiedad estado - rasgo y la autoestima en gestantes de un hospital de Jauja - 2025. La investigación fue de tipo no experimental, de nivel descriptivo, di seño correlacional de corte transversal; se trabajó con una población de madres gestantes que oscilaban entre los 16 a 44 años de edad, con una muestra de 104 gestantes. Para ello se utilizó dos instrumentos: el Cuestionario de ansiedad estado - rasgo (STA I) y el Inventario de Autoestima de Coopersmith, los cuales fueron debidamente validados para la población estudiada. Se determinó que existe relación significativa entre la ansiedad estado - rasgo y la autoestima en gestantes en un hospital de Jauja - 202 5, con una significancia de 0,001. Asimismo, se halló una relación negativa moderada entre la autoestima con ansiedad estado ( - ,501) y ansiedad rasgo ( - ,487). Además, los resultados mostraron que la predominancia de ansiedad estado fue del 31,73% y ansieda d rasgo alcanzó el 54,81%; siendo estos de categoría baja. Por su parte, en autoestima el 55 ,77% alcanzó una categoría alta.
