El objetivo para la realización del presente trabajo de investigación es analizar cómo es la gestión turística en la Municipalidad Provincial de Urubamba, - Cusco 2019. La metodología utilizada fue de tipo descriptivo, porque se va a describir cómo es la gestión municipal de la actividad en la Provincia de Urubamba, a través de la información que se recabe en la Municipalidad de Urubamba, Así mismo se encuesto a los trabajadores de la Municipalidad de Urubamba considerándose que el universo es de 170 trabajadores y mediante la muestra se determinó que debía de encuestarse a 48 trabajadores. Como resultado se llegó a conocer que no hay una adecuada gestión turística en la Municipalidad y como conclusión se analizó que la gestión turística de la Municipalidad Provincial de Urubamba, es inadecuada; con un 25% lo que se puede apreciar claramente en la tabla N°8. Así mismo es sin participación de los involucrados lo que hace que tenga dificultades en su ejecución.
