Para la investigación se recopilaron artículos científicos relacionados con estas variables con la finalidad de establecer el estado del arte referente al tema. Se recurrió a la búsqueda de información en dos bases indexadas, Scopus y ProQuest, y se la filtró utilizando criterios de inclusión y exclusión mediante el método PRISMA para llegar, finalmente, a contemplar dieciséis artículos de interés para la investigación. Publicados en revistas científicas, estos estudios muestran data importante acerca de las variables descritas y variables adicionales que influyen sobre la incertidumbre y que, de alguna forma, impactan en la elaboración de los planes maestros de producción del sector manufactura.

The latter constitutes a critical impact factor in the manufacturing sector. For the investigation, we collected articles related to these variables to establish the state of affairs in the specialized literature. We searched for information in two indexed databases, Scopus and ProQuest, and filtered it using inclusion and exclusion criteria derived from the PRISMA method. We identified sixteen scientific journal articles of interest for the investigation at the end of the process.
