Eating Behavior Disorder (ED) is a worrying psychological problem since there is a high prevalence in adolescents, with anorexia nervosa and bulimia being more prevalent. It has been shown that among the factors that predispose to the development of eating disorders is the parental bond. Thus, the present study sought to determine the relationship between attachment and ED in adolescents. For this purpose, a search was conducted using the recommendations of the PRISMA guide (Page et al., 2021). The databases consulted were Scopus, Ebsco, Dialnet and ProQuest. Ten articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria to be analyzed. As a result, it was found that 9 articles identified a positive correlation between insecure attachment and ED; however, 5 of them needed mediating variables to explain this relationship. Additionally, in the remaining article no relationship was found. These results indicate that adolescents with an insecure attachment will present a greater tendency to develop ED. Future research should focus on a comprehensive intervention that prioritizes the family as a protective agent in the development of adolescent eating disorders. |

Future research should focus on a comprehensive intervention that prioritizes the family as a protective agent in the development of adolescent eating disorders.El Trastorno de la Conducta Alimentaria (TCA) es un problema psicológico preocupante ya que existe una gran prevalencia en los adolescentes, presentándose en mayor medida la anorexia nerviosa y la bulimia. Se ha demostrado que dentro de los factores que predisponen el desarrollo de desórdenes alimentarios se encuentra el vínculo parental. Es así que el presente estudio buscó determinar la relación entre el apego y el TCA en los adolescentes. Para ello, se realizó una búsqueda utilizando las recomendaciones de la guía PRISMA (Page et al., 2021). Las bases consultadas fueron Scopus, Ebsco, Dialnet y ProQuest. Se seleccionaron 10 artículos en base a criterios de inclusión y exclusión para analizarlos. Como resultado se encontró que 9 artículos identificaron una correlación positiva entre el apego inseguro y TCA; sin embargo, 5 de ellas necesitaron variables mediadoras para explicar dicha relación. Adicionalmente, en el artículo restante no se encontró ninguna relación. Dichos resultados indican que los adolescentes con un apego inseguro presentarán en mayor medida un TCA.
