description The goal of this document is to analyze the company San Miguel Industrias PET S.A. SMI focuses on the manufacturing and commercialization of plastic preforms, bottles, thermoforming and caps. Its business units have an outstanding performance in the plastics manufacturing sector where the company has been able to seize its strengths and opportunities in order to maximize rentability. Therefore each external and internal factor is going to be analyzed to propose new strategies to SMI. Said strategies shall be aligned with its vision and mission statements as well as its internal politics and values to achieve its strategic goals. In addition, SMI will be able to focus on activities within the company that are not being considered to obtain better participation in the global market.
