The goal of this document is to analyze the company San Miguel Industrias PET S.A. (SMI) which belongs to the manufacturing sector and is one of the main companies in rigid plastics from the Andean Region, Argentina, Central America and the Caribbean Area. SMI focuses on the manufacturing and commercialization of plastic preforms, bottles, thermoforming and caps. Its business units have an outstanding performance in the plastics manufacturing sector where the company has been able to seize its strengths and opportunities in order to maximize rentability. Therefore each external and internal factor is going to be analyzed to propose new strategies to SMI.
