El 63,88% de estudiantes son del 1er. año y corresponden al grupo de edad 13 años y el 23,25% de estudiantes viven con mamá, papá y hermanos. El nivel de ansiedad estado más frecuente fue el moderado con un 80,65% que corresponde a estudiantes de 2do. año; un 35,48% de nivel alto de ansiedad estado corresponde a estudiantes de 4to.año. Para ansiedad rasgo un 38,71% de estudiantes de 2do.año alcanzan el nivel moderado de ansiedad rasgo, mientras que el 70,96% de nivel alto de ansiedad rasgo corresponde a estudiantes de 4to. año. Los resultados reflejan una correlación positiva muy baja entre la conducta prosocial y la ansiedad rasgo donde r de Pearson= 0,188 con un p = 0,028; en relación a la conducta prosocial y ansiedad estado se obtuvo r de Pearson= 0,180 con un p = 0,036 indicando una correlación positiva muy baja. Se concluye que, existe una correlación estadística significativa de la ansiedad rasgo, ansiedad estado y la conducta prosocial en los estudiantes de secundaria de un colegio del distrito de Los Olivos-Lima.

Descriptive-cross-sectional correlational design study. The study population was students from first to fifth year of high school, with the final sample being 137 students identified through probabilistic sampling. Two scales were applied, one to measure anxiety levels, and the other to measure prosocial behavior, assent and informed consent were used for the students and their parents or guardians, respectively. The 63,88% of students are from the 1st. year and correspond to the age group 13 years old and 23,25% of students live with mother, father and brothers. The most frequent level of state anxiety was the moderate level with 80,65% corresponding to 2nd year of studies; 35,48% of high level of state anxiety corresponds to 4th year of studies. For trait anxiety, the 38,71% of 2nd year studies reach the moderate level of trait anxiety, while 70,96% of the high level of trait anxiety corresponds to 4th year of studies. The results reflect a very low positive correlation between prosocial behavior and trait anxiety where r Pearson= 0,188 with p= 0,028; In relation to prosocial behavior and state anxiety, r Pearson = 0,180 was obtained with p = 0,036 indicating a very low positive correlation.
