Objetivo: Determinar la efectividad de la visita prequirúrgica en la ansiedad del paciente quirúrgico de un hospital nacional de Lima. Métodos y Materiales: el estudio es de diseño experimental y corte transversal porque se ejecutará en un plazo establecido, el tipo de estudio es descriptivo y el enfoque cuantitativo porque los resultados obtenidos serán recolectados y analizados en términos numéricos. El tamaño de la muestra es de 100 pacientes quienes cumplen los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se aplicará el test de Zung-ansiedad con un Alpha de Cronbach de 0.764 lo cual garantiza su confiabilidad. Resultados: la información recopilada del instrumento será ingresada al software del SPSS versión 29 para la realización de los cuadros y gráficas descriptivas que permitirán el análisis, confiabilidad y validación de los datos obtenidos.

The presurgical nursing visit through personalized care aims to provide information and educate the user to achieve a reduction in anxiety. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the pre-surgical visit on the anxiety of the surgical patient in a national hospital in Lima. Methods and Materials: the study has an experimental and cross-sectional design because it will be carried out within an established period, the type of study is descriptive and the approach is quantitative because the results obtained will be collected and analyzed in numerical terms.
