Metodología: Trabajo monográfico, descriptivo, retrospectivo, realizado mediante revisión documental de investigaciones con enfoque cuantitativo, cualitativo y mixto. Resultados: En búsqueda bibliográfica se obtuvo 33 artículos, en su mayoría de la base de datos DOAJ, idioma español, procedentes de Perú y de tipo cuantitativo. Destacó como factores predisponentes a estrés, la sobrecarga laboral y doble presencia del docente (30,30%); repercutió en cansancio, agotamiento, pérdida progresiva de energía, fatiga y desgaste personal (24,24%); además de conductas psicológicas cambiantes, estados de ansiedad y cambios en el apetito (21,21%). Conclusiones: El estrés laboral se acentúa más en el género femenino, en la edad de 50 a más años, en docentes por modalidad contrato; lo predispone la sobrecarga laboral y doble presencia del docente. Repercute generando cansancio, agotamiento, pérdida progresiva de energía, fatiga, desgaste personal, ocasiona conductas psicológicas cambiantes, estado de ansiedad, y cambios en el apetito.

Objective: To analyze work stress and its impact on the health of university teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the bibliographic review between December 2019 and March 2022. Methodology: Monographic, descriptive, retrospective work, carried out through documentary review of research with quantitative, qualitative and mixed approach. Results: In the bibliographic search, 33 articles were obtained, mostly from the DOAJ database, Spanish language, from Peru and of a quantitative type. Work overload and double presence of the teacher (30.30%) stood out as predisposing factors to stress; it had an impact on tiredness, exhaustion, progressive loss of energy, fatigue and personal exhaustion (24.24%); in addition to changing psychological behaviors, anxiety states and changes in appetite (21.21%). Conclusions: Work stress is accentuated more in the female gender, in the age of 50 and over, in teachers by contract modality; It is predisposed by work overload and double presence of the teacher.
