The methodology for this research corresponded to the quantitative study, being of a basic type with the application of non-experimental and correlational design. According to the results of the hypothesis testing, it is likely that the two variables of the study collected are not correlated. It is advisable to continue with this study in the municipalities not intervened and expand the consultation coverage to the teachers of UGEL 3 and UGEL 7; as well as establishing in the following milestones of this research a strengthening program aimed at municipal officials and teachers of Educational Institutions that have more critical results regarding the relationship of the variables of this research in Metropolitan Lima. El estudio presentado tuvo como objetivo la determinación de la relación entre los espacios públicos y el aprendizaje infantil en niños de 2 a 8 años del área de Metropolitana de Lima durante el año 2023. La metodología para esta investigación correspondió al estudio cuantitativo siendo de tipo básico con la aplicación del diseño no experimental y correlacional. Según los resultados de la contrastación de la hipótesis es probable que las dos variables del estudio recogido no están correlacionadas. Es recomendable continuar este estudio en las municipalidades no intervenidas y ampliar la cobertura de consulta a los docentes de las UGEL 3 y UGEL 7; así como establecer en los siguientes hitos de esta investigación un programa de fortalecimiento dirigido a los funcionarios de las municipalidades y docentes de las Instituciones Educativas que tienen resultados más críticos en cuanto a la relación de las variables de esta investigación en el área de Lima Metropolitana.
