The models developed by Dorothy Cao, Fernando Prieto, Beata Piecychna, Ewa Kościałkowska-Okońska, Federia Scarpa and Daniele Orlando, and Guadalupe Soriano are thus reviewed. The contribution of authors highlighting the importance of some particular competences is also collected.La traducción jurídica es un campo de especialidad activo y en crecimiento, para el cual es necesario preparar convenientemente a los estudiantes de traducción. Por ello resulta importante determinar las competencias asociadas a la traducción jurídica. En este trabajo de revisión hemos intentado recoger algunos de los aportes más significativos al respecto. Se reseñan así los modelos desarrollados por Dorothy Cao, Fernando Prieto, Beata Piecychna, Ewa Kościałkowska-Okońska, Federia Scarpa y Daniele Orlando, y Guadalupe Soriano.
