description Objective: To evaluate the micro-shearing bond strength in feldspathic ceramics through various methods of hydrofluoric acid residue removal and different application times. Materials and methods: An in vitro study in which 9% hydrofluoric acid was applied for 1 minute as a surface treatment on feldspathic ceramic discs. The samples were divided into 4 groups with 3 different application times and subjected to different removal methods: water and air spray; ultrasonic bath with distilled water; active application of 37% phosphoric acid for 1, 2, and 4 minutes; and a combination of 37% phosphoric acid actively applied for 1, 2, and 4 minutes followed by an ultrasonic bath with distilled water for 4 minutes. Cylinders of flowable resin were prepared and placed on the ceramic discs. Samples were subjected to micro-shear tests on a semi-universal testing machine. Results: The two-way ANOVA test and Tukey's post-hoc test (p < 0.05) revealed that the water spray group at 1 and 2 minutes, and the ultrasonic bath at 4 minutes showed the highest bond strength values ​​with a statistically significant difference. Conclusions: The water spray removal method for 1 and 2 minutes showed the highest bond strength value, while the lowest was observed with the 37% phosphoric acid removal method for 2 minutes.

Materiales y métodos: Estudio in vitro, en el que se aplicó ácido fluorhídrico al 9 % durante 1 minuto como tratamiento de superficie en discos de cerámica feldespática. Las muestras fueron divididas en cuatro grupos con tres diferentes tiempos de aplicación y sometidas a distintos métodos de remoción: espray de agua y aire; baño ultrasónico con agua destilada; ácido fosfórico al 37 % de forma activa, durante 1, 2 y 4 minutos cada grupo; y la combinación de ácido fosfórico al 37 %, aplicándolo de forma activa durante 1, 2 y 4 minutos, más baño ultrasónico con agua destilada durante 4 minutos. Se elaboraron cilindros de resina fluida que fueron colocados sobre los discos de cerámica. Se sometieron las muestras a pruebas de microcizallamiento en una máquina de ensayo semiuniversal. Resultados: La prueba de ANOVA de dos vías y la prueba post hoc de Tukey (p < 0,05) revelaron que el grupo de espray de agua durante 1 y 2 minutos y el de baño ultrasónico durante 4 minutos presentaron los valores de resistencia de unión más altos con una diferencia estadísticamente significativa. Conclusiones: El método de remoción de espray de agua por 1 y 2 minutos presentó el valor más alto de resistencia de unión, mientras que el más bajo lo presentó el método de remoción con ácido fosfórico al 37 % por 2 minutos.Objetivo: Avaliar a resistência de união por microcisalhamento de cerâmicas de feldspato por meio de vários métodos de remoção de resíduos de ácido fluorídrico e tempos diferentes de aplicação. Materiais e métodos: Estudo in vitro, no qual o ácido fluorídrico a 9% foi aplicado por 1 minuto como tratamento de superfície em discos de cerâmica de feldspato. As amostras foram divididas em 4 grupos com 3 tempos de aplicação diferentes e submetidas a diferentes métodos de remoção: spray de água e ar; banho ultrassônico com água destilada; ácido fosfórico a 37% aplicado ativamente por 1, 2 e 4 minutos em cada grupo; e a combinação de ácido fosfórico a 37%, aplicado ativamente por 1, 2 e 4 minutos, mais banho ultrassônico com água destilada por 4 minutos. Foram feitos cilindros de resina fluida e colocados sobre os discos de cerâmica. As amostras foram submetidas a testes de microcisalhamento em uma máquina de testes semi-universal. Resultados: A ANOVA de duas vias e o teste post-hoc de Tukey (p < 0,05) revelaram que o grupo de spray de água em 1 e 2 minutos e o banho ultrassônico em 4 minutos apresentaram os maiores valores de resistência de união com diferença estatisticamente significativa.
