The results obtained through the non-parametric Wilcoxon T test; indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the posttest in relation to the pretest. A value of p<0.01 was obtained and we accepted H1. The results show that the revelation of the development of investigative skills works when writing and disseminating findings in university students.El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar cómo las habilidades investigativas influyen en la redacción y difusión de hallazgos en estudiantes de una universidad de Ica. Para ello, el estudio utiliza el paradigma cuantitativo; diseño experimental, y nivel preexperimental. La población estuvo constituida por 69 estudiantes matriculados en el curso general —Taller de Comunicación Escrita—; y las especialidades Ingeniería de Sistemas, Enfermería y Psicología. Los resultados obtenidos a través de la prueba no paramétrica T de Wilcoxon indicó que hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre el postest con relación al pretest. Se obtuvo un valor p<0,01 y aceptamos la H1.
