Descripción
Sumario:Nowadays, drunkenness is considered an important factor in the execution of criminal acts, in criminalistics, due to the increase of crimes and traffic accidents in society, which are carried out under the action of ethyl alcohol. The purpose of the present work was to compare if there is differentiation of blood alcohol based on the time elapsed, and if there is correlation. The methodology to be followed consisted of taking blood samples at different times (4) to corpses (N = 42) that are interned in Morgue Central de Lima, under the same conditions, taking into consideration: removal of the body from the scene of the events, arrival at the Division of Forensic Thanatology, necropsy and removal of the body after the necropsy of the law. The sample collection (4 in each cadaver) was in an average time of 12 hours for each case. The samples were processed immediately, after cooling (-4 to + 4 ° C). Then, the concentration of ethyl alcohol was determined by gas chromatography (GC-FID / HS); Then the results were analyzed and it was verified whether there was a difference in the concentration, considering the time elapsed since the death, the necropsy of the law until the removal of the corpse. From the results obtained it was possible to conclude that there was no constant variation, since decrease, increase and irregular variation were obtained; so it can not be considered in this case, time as a determining factor in the differentiation of blood alcohol in cadavers.
