Descripción
Sumario:At the end of the 19th century and throughout the first half of the 20th century, Germany was at the forefront of urban planning worldwide, as evidenced by the Berlin Master Plan and the urban planning treatises of the late 19th century. Initially popularized throughout Europe, German urban planning subsequently made its influence felt in many Latin American cities, the latter being the main focus of this publication. "German Urban Planning in Latin America. Its Contribution to City Planning at the Beginning of the 20th Century" is a compilation of articles edited by Gabriela Mardones Miranda, organized into three parts that correspond to three periods of German urban planning influence in Latin American cities, in chronological order.
