Descripción
Sumario:The present research aims is to determine the impact that passive heating strategies would have on the thermal comfort of residents in high Andean homes in Sabaino Apurímac, which are characterized by having a cold climate and also being exposed to the problem of frost typical of said places. This research is of a non-experimental design, of a descriptive correlational type and non-probabilistic sampling. Measurements of the thermal variables were carried out in the place of study to analyze the current situation faced in said areas and a survey carried out with 34 specialists in the area to establish which are the most optimal passive heating strategies that would be suitable for high Andean areas to achieve a improvement in thermal comfort in homes. The results show that passive heating strategies would significantly influence the thermal comfort of residents in high Andean homes, likewise it is concluded that the most suitable strategies that can be implemented in homes already built are overhead skylights, attached greenhouses, direct intake to through the windows facing N, E and W are more efficient; together with the incorporation of insulating material in the envelope to achieve temperature increases of up to approximately 10°C.
