Six motivational factors were analyzed: self-expression, company, virtual community, coolness, entertainment, and relationship maintenance. The study concluded that the most influential motivational factors in the satisfaction of the use of Facebook in undergraduate students of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina are virtual community, entertainment, and self-expression; and the least influential, company, relationship maintenance, and coolness.Este estudio se realizó con el objetivo de identificar los motivos asociados con el uso de Facebook en estudiantes de pregrado de la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. La investigación ha seguido la pauta no experimental descriptiva y se realizó por medio de una encuesta aplicada a 372 estudiantes de pregrado de doce carreras profesionales de la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. Se analizaron seis factores motivacionales: autoexpresión, compañía, comunidad virtual, coolness, entretenimiento y mantenimiento de relaciones.
