Descripción
Sumario:Based on the problems of the industrial sector, on the commercialization of plastics, which has been affected by the implementation of the law that restricts the use and commercialization of single-use plastics through the implementation of Law No. 30884 – “Law that regulates single-use plastic and disposable containers or containers”; This article proposed the implementation of a new production model based on Lean manufacturing with a biotechnological approach in a Mype of the plastic industry. For this reason, a research method transversal to the supply chain with a sustainable approach through the application of biotechnology was chosen. This technique uses natural resources to produce substitute products for single-use plastics and achieve a sustainable product. The methodology used was non-experimental and descriptive, developing a proposal for a sustainable alternative in the production of single-use plastics for biodegradable plastics that complies with the Lean manufacturing methodology. Finally, the most important conclusion of the investigation was that, effectively, through the implementation of the proposed methodology, losses were reduced, and profitability improved.
