Descripción
Sumario:The purpose of the study was to determine the frequency of fears about the vulnerability of their health and that of their family, and the relationship between work situation and family burden, in conditions of quarantine and social isolation, in two groups of adults. The sample was made up of 465 people (men and women) to whom a virtual questionnaire prepared based on the COVIDSAM guide was applied. A descriptive correlational design was used. The most outstanding thing that was evidenced was that the fear of vulnerability to health and family, in conditions of social isolation, has no implications with age. Fear of losing economic stability and work was slightly more pronounced in people under 50 than in people over 50. People under 50 years of age presented, slightly, greater fear of social relationships, not so people over 50 years of age. In both samples, a negative relationship was found between the employment situation and fear of the vulnerability of their health and family. A positive relationship was found between the employment situation and the assumed family burden, in people younger than 50 years and a negative relationship in people older than 50 years.
