Three analogies are contrasted to describe and understand the application of AI in an organization: the Chef de Cuisine, the CMMI maturity model, and the Supply Chain. Methods and technologies for the development of these systems are examined, as well as technical challenges, risks, and ethical considerations in their implementation. Initiatives for AI assistants designed for university professors and AI agents in industrial processes are analyzed, exploring their functionalities and benefits. Figures and tables summarize the findings, and recommendations are provided for the implementation of AI Agents and Assistants in academia, institutions, and companies. Este artículo explora el desarrollo y la aplicación de inteligencia artificial en la creación de asistentes, agentes y plataformas colaborativas. Se analizan diversas aplicaciones y usos de la inteligencia artificial destacando su impacto en la educación, industria, atención al cliente, gestión de proyectos y en la experiencia del usuario. Se contrastan tres analogías para describir y comprender la aplicación de la inteligencia artificial en una organización: el chef de cocina, el modelo de madurez CMMI y la cadena de suministro. Se examinan métodos y tecnologías para el desarrollo de estos sistemas, así como desafíos técnicos, riesgos y consideraciones éticas en su implementación. Iniciativas de asistentes de inteligencia artificial diseñados para docentes universitarios y de agentes de IA en procesos para la industria son analizadas, explorando sus funcionalidades y beneficios.
