A mixed-methods approach was employed; the main instruments included participant observation and a project evaluation rubric with a Likert scale to assess the digital products of six students. To enhance the results, the Item-Total Consistency Index was applied using Pearson's correlation coeficient, enabling the measurement of the relationship between each rubric item and the student's total score. Results. A progress level categorized as "good" (7 out of 10 points) was observed in students understanding of the SDGs at the end of the practice. High correlations from the index contributed to a more accurate reflection of their SDG comprehension. Conclusions. The implementation of new didactic experiences focused on the SDGs, where students take an active role, contributes to better understanding of these goals, improves teaching-learning processes, and fosters the development of sustainable global citizenship. Objetivo. Describir una experiencia didáctica basada en la creación de un producto digital enfocado en los Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), que fomenta su conocimiento y comprensión en la educación secundaria para adultos, desarrollando en los estudiantes la conciencia crítica, las habilidades de investigación, el manejo de las TIC y el compromiso con una ciudadanía global sostenible. Método. Fue mixto; los principales instrumentos fueron la observación participante y una rúbrica de evaluación del proyecto con escala de Likert para valorar los productos digitales de 6 alumnos. Para enriquecer los resultados se aplicó el Índice de consistencia Ítem-total utilizando el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson, lo que permitió medir la relación entre cada ítem de la rúbrica y la puntuación total del estudiante. Resultados. Se encontró un progreso tipificado como “bueno” (7 puntos sobre 10) de los estudiantes en la comprensión de los ODS al final de la práctica. Las altas correlaciones del índice contribuyeron a reflejar de manera más precisa su comprensión de los ODS. Conclusiones. La implementación de nuevas experiencias didácticas con enfoque en los ODS, donde el alumnado es el protagonista activo, contribuye a la comprensión de estos y a mejorar los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje y a la formación de una ciudadanía global sostenible.
