Descripción
Sumario:Objective. To describe a didactic experience based on the creation of a digital product focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting knowledge and understanding of the SDGs in adult secondary education while fostering critical awareness, research skills, ICT proficiency, and commitment to sustainable global citizenship amongstudents. Method. A mixed-methods approach was employed; the main instruments included participant observation and a project evaluation rubric with a Likert scale to assess the digital products of six students. To enhance the results, the Item-Total Consistency Index was applied using Pearson's correlation coeficient, enabling the measurement of the relationship between each rubric item and the student's total score. Results. A progress level categorized as "good" (7 out of 10 points) was observed in students understanding of the SDGs at the end of the practice. High correlations from the index contributed to a more accurate reflection of their SDG comprehension. Conclusions. The implementation of new didactic experiences focused on the SDGs, where students take an active role, contributes to better understanding of these goals, improves teaching-learning processes, and fosters the development of sustainable global citizenship.
